Diana Maza Cabrera

My name is Diana Maza Cabrera, and I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) clinician-in-training, currently pursuing my master’s degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at New York University.

I have experience working with children, teens, and their families, supporting both academic development and emotional well-being.

I support young adults processing through childhood trauma, teaching emotion regulation skills, improving executive functioning, and goal setting for a stable and peaceful life.

I have also supported individuals who have experienced homelessness, helping them maintain stable housing, reintegrate into their communities, and access substance use and recovery resources.

My approach to therapy is patient, curious, and compassionate. I value a client-centered approach that meets each person where they are and recognizes their unique experiences and needs.

I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore meaningful growth and change through a collaborative therapeutic process.  Contact me today, and let's get you started on your transformational journey.
