She helps clients understand emotional patterns shaped by trauma, regulate their nervous system, and rebuild a sense of safety, self-worth, and connection through a grounded and supportive therapeutic approach.

Milana Banton, LMHC, a New York University–trained mental health counselor who supports adolescents and adults in navigating anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. Taylor Shay is a master’s student at New York University’s Mental Health and Wellness Counseling Program who has extensive experience in social services, including victim advocacy, crisis counseling, and supporting individuals and families through crisis and neurodivergent journeys. She uses a trauma-informed, person-centered, and narrative approach to create a supportive space that fosters resilience, growth, and meaningful change.

Valerie Ortiz is a graduate student in the Mental Health Counseling program at New York University. She is passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where clients can explore their experiences, foster self-awareness, and work toward healing and personal growth. Valerie takes an integrative, client-centered approach to therapy and is especially drawn to DBT and parts work.
