Based on the work of Dr. John Gottman, this program focuses on helping parents better understand and respond to their child’s emotional needs.
Research on emotional intelligence has shown that children who feel emotionally supported are more likely to develop stronger relationships, improved emotional regulation, resilience, and healthier coping skills over time.
This workshop helps parents learn how to recognize emotions, respond with greater awareness, and guide children through difficult feelings in supportive and constructive ways.
Parents will learn how to:
Better understand emotional intelligence and its impact on development
Recognize and validate their child’s emotions
Respond with greater empathy and connection
Support healthy emotional regulation
Set limits while maintaining emotional safety
Use practical emotion consulting tools with children of different ages
The goal of this program is to strengthen parent-child connection while helping children build confidence, emotional awareness, and resilience.
