When thinking about trauma it might be difficult for you to relate to something personal, but thinking of the pandemic as a collective drama will enable you to relate to some of the content in this course. According to the Oxford dictionary trauma is a deeply distressing or disturbing experience with emotional shock following a stressful event or a physical injury. This definition does not offer us any specific examples of what qualifies as Trauma, so we'll turn to the DSM five or the diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders for additional explanation.
Join me in this course as we explore a multi-disciplinary approach to wellness, to grow our understanding, and strengthen our resilience.
